Professional Background
Dr. Campbell has thirty cumulative years of educational and business experience combining university higher education and secondary school administration. Dr. Campbell is a Senior Educational Doctoral Advisor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education (SOE) in Baltimore, MD where she assists doctoral students in achieving doctoral conferral. Dr. Campbell also provides doctoral dissertation process consulting and offers a dissertation development e-course. She is an Advisory Board member on the National Council of Education and Human Development (NCEHD) at the George Washington University in Washington DC.
Dr. Campbell is the president and founder of the Education Leadership Development Group, LLC, (ELDG), a private education leadership development company that provides leadership development consulting and training to school administrators, various school professionals, and teacher leaders. She provides individual and group consulting services to help school leader enhance leadership skills, leadership sustainability, and to identify and develop future school leaders.
Dr. Campbell’s area of doctoral research at the George Washington University focused on identifying, developing, and sustaining teachers as leaders. As a research practitioner and educator, she developed numerous research papers on the topic of Teacher Leadership using a practical and theoretical basis. Her proposal research papers have been accepted at conferences nationally and internationally. Dr. Campbell is a doctoral research proposal reviewer and member of the American Education and Research Association (AERA). She has presented numerous research proposal papers at the University Council of Educational Administrators (UCEA) sponsored by the University of Virginia; and presented research proposals at the Consortium for Research on Educational Assessment and Teacher Effectiveness (CREATE), sponsored by William and Mary College.
In addition, Dr. Campbell frequently presented proposals at the Educational Symposium for Research Institute (ESRI) at the George Washington University. Her other accomplishments include: high school principal, middle school director, guidance counselor, academic dean, and secondary teacher. Dr. Campbell has a managerial background in telecommunications marketing and as a commercial bank officer in Fortune 500 companies. As a published author, Dr. Campbell’s books focus on education study skills for aspiring upper school students and task/time management for busy professionals.
